$50M senior affordable housing development consisting of an existing 75-unit mid-rise rehab. Applewood Towers II was built in 1996 and was acquired and rehabbed in 2024 utilizing $22M in 2024 4% LIHTC & $24M Tax-Exempt Bonds in conjunction with Applewood Towers with construction completion in 2025. Applewood Towers operates under a Section 8 HAP Contract through the RAD program.
Scope of Work
Exterior: new roof, window replacement, garden beds, parking lot resurfacing, refurbishing of the building envelope, new community building in between Applewood Towers & Applewood Towers II
Interior: updated entryway vestibule with call system, mail facilities, upgraded community room, computer space, and salon, updated offices and laundry facilities, total renovation of units with open concept includes new kitchen, bathroom, vinyl plank flooring, paint, and fixtures
