This testimonial is a little different – this is about the accomplishment of our Project Manager Viveca Callahan.
The Peachtree Road Race started in Atlanta in 1970 on July 4th at the corner of Peachtree St. and Roswell Rd. with just 150 entrants of which 110 finished the 6.2 mile run. Today the Peachtree is the largest 10k road race in the country with 60,000 participants and winds through the streets of Buckhead and Midtown, ending at Piedmont Park.
Each year participants of the Peachtree Road Race must run and qualify in previous race to be able to run the Peachtree and are then put into a lottery and selected to run. Viveca has qualified for the past 13 years to run the Peachtree and last year her picture was in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution!
We are excited to share this great picture of our very own Viveca running the Peachtree! She’ll be running again this year on July 4th. We are very proud of her accomplishment!
