Glenda Leduc

As President and CEO of Mansermar and Mid-America Apartment Management Company

she has been involved in the successful management, rehabilitation and operation of 65 multifamily housing communities for senior citizens in 14 states. She is experienced in all phases of multifamily apartment administration, property management and asset management and is well versed in the mechanics of the federal housing subsidy programs and rehabilitation of multifamily properties for senior citizens. She has been successful in the rehabilitation of existing properties financed through Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and under HUD 221(d)4,   ?  programs.

She works closely with ownership, lenders, regulatory authorities, municipalities and communities to create and maintain successful developments, resulting in communities of quality, generating a fulfilling lifestyle for our residents and quality physical assets for the equity and financing providers.

Prior to joining Mansermar, Ms. Leduc was a Partner in Leduc, Phillips & Associates and Faucett, Taylor and Associates, both Certified Public Accounting Firms.

 

Kay Davis

Kay Davis, Vice President of Mansermar, Inc., has more than 35 years’ experience in the housing industry and was formerly the Assistant Executive Director and Property Manager with the Housing Authority of the City of Northport, AL. Prior to entering real estate management, she was Vice President of Davis Ditching and Utility Construction Company.

Through her work, she has become uniquely qualified in the management industry. Ms. Davis has had hands-on experience in Conventional, Section 8, Section 202 Elderly housing and Section 911 housing programs.  Her experience with utility construction provided her with invaluable experience in contract negotiation and corporate management.  Ms. Davis has considerable financial expertise, skills in staff organization, training and supervision, profit and loss management, budget planning, capital improvement planning and resident relations.

Ms. Davis earned her Certified Property Management, CPM, designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management in 1988. She is also affiliated with the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials, the National Association of Home Builders and earned her Associate of Arts Degree from the University of Houston.

Lynn Cassell

Lynn Cassell, Director of Operations at Mansermar, Inc., has more than 35 years of multi site management experience and has managed a wide variety of real estate including Market Rate, HOME, LIHTC, Bond, Senior, Mixed Income, Project Based Section 8, Public Housing and various HUD insured programs. Lynn has been involved in major community redevelopment and capital projects and has provided guidance in several successful lease ups.

Prior to joining Mansermar, Inc., Lynn served as President of Property Management at Columbia Residential and was Chief Operating Officer at the Housing Authority of the City of Atlanta.

Lynn earned the Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management in 1987.

Earleen S. Abernathy

Ms. Abernathy, Secretary-Treasurer, has more than 30 years of experience in multi-family housing development and management. She has been involved in the development of over 43 properties throughout the United States and the management of eight properties in Georgia and Texas.

Since 1985, with Mansermar, as Vice President of Development she has been involved in development, from choosing the sites, negotiating with contractors and architects, monitoring all phases of construction to the final inspection and interfacing with attorneys through the final closing.

In 1995, Ms. Abernathy became involved in the asset management of multifamily housing and moved to the Human Resources Department in 2008, assuming the responsibility of administering Company Benefits, Maintaining Corporate Records and Finance.

Ms. Abernathy also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Mansermar, Inc., and Trustee of the Retirement Plan.
